Our Origins
The concept behind the Jewellery Stop began way back in 1999 with a company called Watch This Space, which was formed to promote and manufacture the designs of Victoria McGowan-Smyth and a small team of talented designers from across the world. Gradually branching out from (but not leaving!) the design and factory floor, The Jewellery Stop was formed to bring the product directly to the retail market.
The Jewellery Stop began with shops and sales at special events throughout the UK. As the online shopping market grew, The Jewellery Stop Online emerged and began it's journey in 2009 as an independent website running company.
Our Mission
We aim is to inject a much needed shot of colour into the drab jewellery market and combine classic designs with a refreshing and contemporary feel. Watch This Space Jewellery remains our core product and with Victoria McGowan-Smyth and Watch This Space, we cross analyse trending colours and involve ourselves deeply in the design and supply chain process, ensuring that our business operates ethically at every level from the concept and design, through development and production, and finally to the end customer, who purchases a product which can be worn and appreciated time and time again.
Alongside our core products, we aim to curate collections from other UK and international designers which complement our products, ranging from scarves, Silver and Pearl Jewellery, Bags and Purses, to unique designed greeting cards perfect to accompany a gift.
About our Products
We have the largest selection of Watch This Space Jewellery available online. The materials used in this stunning costume jewellery range include resin, pewter, aluminium, wood (from sustainable resources), silverleaf, real skeletal leaf and dried flowers, and shell (Paua, Capiz and Mother of Pearl shell from sustainable resources). All our jewellery components are nickel free and hypo-allergenic.

The Jewellery Stop website has grown into an independent branch operated by The Jewellery Stop (Online) Limited to provide a unique buying experience for our online customers. Since the company's incorporation back in April 2009, we have made it our mission to provide our customers with a pleasant website browsing experience. Having upgraded our website 3 times, we have remained up-to-date with the fast pace of technology trends, prioritising ease of use of our website to filter down colours and products and make use of intelligent search assistance. We value customer feedback, continually improving our plastic free packaging, customer service and product range.
Our head office incorporates our shop, where our small team (often one person at a time!) manages prompt website order dispatch and customer service by telephone and on the shop floor.
